- Ethiopian Airlines flies from Addis Ababa (ADD) to Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. Some arrive in Delhi at night — check the time on your ticket.
- Visa
- India's e-Visa is not open to Ethiopian passports (checked 15 Oct 2026). Apply through the Embassy of India in Addis Ababa, including for a medical or medical attendant visa.
- Yellow fever
- India asks travellers arriving from Ethiopia for a yellow-fever vaccination certificate, taken at least 10 days before travel. Without it you may be held in quarantine on arrival.
- Paying
- Pay at checkout with a Visa or Mastercard card that allows international payments; it is charged in Indian rupees and your bank converts it.
- Language
